Isonkyrön main church
The red-brick Isokyrö Main Church was completed in 1877 and can accommodate approximately one thousand people. The altarpiece is a copy of Anthony van Dyck’s painting “Christ on the Cross,” painted in Paris in 1878 by the artist Ida Silverberg. Located next to the church is a funeral chapel, which was completed in 1878
Right beside the funeral chapel is the military cemetery, designed by visual artist and architect Matti Visanti, along with the “Kyrön karhu” (The Bear of Kyrö) monument, which was unveiled in 1923.
