Hostel in the middle of Seinäjoki’s scenic, historical cultural environment, close to events and services.
Our hostel is suitable for both holidaymakers and business travelers, and also excellent for private bookings for groups of various sizes such as group trips, corporate strategy days, or different retreats. We offer single, double, triple, and quadruple rooms. If needed, some rooms can be converted into six-person rooms. The cozy rooms with high ceilings create a historic atmosphere. All our rooms have a wardrobe/storage cabinet, desk, chair, and bedside lamp. Every guest has a bed made up with linens, as well as bath and hand towels.
The kitchen has the necessary dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils for preparing and eating meals. The hostel kitchen features an oven, stove, refrigerators, freezers, microwaves, coffee makers, kettles, toasters, and a dishwasher. Organic coffee and tea are available, which can be prepared in the kitchen at a convenient time.

Common washrooms (separate for men and women) with changing rooms. In connection with the laundry facilities, there is also a clothes care room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and drying cabinet. One of the toilets also has a private shower. Free WI-FI is available in all rooms and public areas.
BUILDING HISTORY:
Hostel Bjorkenheim’s facilities are located in a the oldest part of the building of regional hospital for Finnish-speaking municipalities in South Ostrobothnia for psychiatric care which was constructed in the 1920s as a regional hospital. In 1985, Törnävä Hospital had 681 care beds, and the hospital was divided into 20 departments. Of these, eight were long-term psychiatric wards. Long-term care ward 9 was located in this main building, where operates Hostel Bjorkenheim.
