Jussi's River Saunas - Closer to the vast plain

Jussi's River Saunas are located by the banks of the Kyrönjoki River at the border of Ilmajoki and Seinäjoki. In Alajoki, you can admire the magnificent landscapes of the Ostrobothnian fields stretching for kilometers. The complex of the jokisaunas includes three buildings. On the riverside stands a sauna-equipped cabin reminiscent of the old-fashioned 'Alajokisauna' which includes a sleeping loft. In the yard, there is a traditional wood-heated sauna that can accommodate 10-20 people on its benches. You can cool off in the Kyrönjoki River from the saunas. There is a separate log cabin for gatherings, which has nine 6-person Finnish tables, the exhaust hood and gas functioning kitchen. The host of the place, 'Jussi,' is happy to talk about the origin and history of the plains and the Alajoki River. Here you can enjoy delicious meal creations prepared by the hosts, to gather or to celebrate. Electricity is produced using a generator as needed. Jussi's River Saunas are open from May to October.
