Metsola - Cottage 1-4 persons

Metsola is a cabin owned by the hunting club, completely renovated in 2023. The cabin is excellently suited as accommodation for both small and slightly larger groups of hikers. Thanks to its location near Lauhanvuori and its trails, Metsola is an ideal base for both hikers and mountain bikers. In the yard area, there is a separate sauna building, which includes a fireplace room, a spacious bathroom, and a sauna. The yard also features two lean-tos, a woodshed, and an outhouse. There is also the possibility to stay overnight in a motorhome or caravan in the yard. Geopark cycling routes run directly through the yard. In winter, the Lauhanvuori ski trails likewise pass through the property. Next to Metsola flows a clear-water stream that originates from Lauhanvuori. The lucky ones may spot beavers living in the stream area amidst the evening silence. When you book Metsola, you will have access to the stylishly renovated and furnished cabin as well as all the yard facilities. Metsola is equipped with a bunk bed and a sofa bed, providing good accommodation for four people. The sauna building also has a sofa bed that can be used for accommodation if necessary. Guests must bring their own bed linens (pillowcase, sheet, and duvet cover). Metsola provides mattresses for four, four pillows, and four duvets. Accommodation without proper bed linen is not allowed. A sheet and pillowcase must be used even when using a sleeping bag. Guests are responsible for final cleaning. Metsola has an air-source heat pump to maintain a base level of heating. Since the photos in the listing were taken, new curtains have been installed in the cabin.
