Aalto Library
The fan-shaped lending hall is the library’s most distinctive visual feature. Light filtered through the slatted screen casts a beautiful glow across the ceiling, walls, and bookshelves. Aalto’s library has been restored to its original appearance and reopened to the public in May 2015. The neighbouring new and old library buildings are connected via an underground basement level. The Aalto Library also hosts an Aalto Information Point.
